when someone says the word violence so many different lights turn on in my head , there's so many different ways of violence for example : domestic violence , physical and mental abuse , fighting , murder , robbery and even riots . Living in Los Angeles ,CA or should i say inner-city my whole life it's really impossible to say I've never seen or experienced violence. There's so many thoughts that i can talk about on violence but the most clear is when i was in middle school , I attended middle school on the west side of Los Angeles.I was only in the seventh grade my second year in middle school , so one day i believe it was Cinco De Mayo a big fight took off I'm not sure weather it was Hispanic against black or just a bunch of students fighting. Boy was i shocked at how they were acting it was really crazy all i saw was a bunch of students beating each other up and even jumping people .
It all started at nutrition , of course the staff broke it up , but later came lunch so the " riot" didn't end there the student s started at lunch but this time the staff couldn't stop it endless they wanted to get beat up so it kept going until LAPD arrived. LAPD couldn't even stop the fighting they only could com it down by spraying pepper spray on several students , they sprayed them so bad it was dripping from their faces .Of course there we're some students with enough common sense to be at a distance far enough to see and at the same time not get harmed , and that included me , I also had enough common sense not to go tell cause then that would put me in jeopardy.
So it didn't end there students start to scram to their class i also went to class and because my class was outside in a bungalow and not in the building i could still see what was going on outside the classroom .The fighting got so out of hand the helicopter came , all four corners of the school were blocked the news came and of course we were on lock down at that point then they finally caught the leaders of the whole thing and put it to an end. It was ridiculous how much they had to stop the fighting ; I consider that a mixture of violence.
Now that I've stated the violence I've seen now its time to mention the violence I've experienced personally . In some cases mostly all robbery is considered violence it's also a pretty scary experience . It all happened during summer right after summer school was over , just like any other teen I was doing something i wasn't supposed to be doing . I was on punishment so after summer school i supposed to head home but since i wanted to be hard headed i carried on with plans of my own . A friend and i went to meet my cousin , then we all got on the bus then got off went to catch another bus going a different way everything was fine for a minute when we got off the bus .
While waiting for the other bus some grown looking men came trying to talk to me , my cousin and friend and since i have a bad habit of being sarcastic , they we're talking to my friend but she said something regrading me so i said I'm only twelve which i guess made them upset . The two men said it was all good have a good day but before they could even finish one came and and snatched my phone right out of my hand and took off running with his friend . It was a brand new phone a Tony Hawk LX I had it for probably only a month , so i did learn valuable lesson ; Listen to your parent cause if i was listening to my mom i would still have a phone today , and also keep your valuables out of public eye . In conclusion the violence I've experienced and seen led me to believe sometimes violence is to teach you a lesson and show you how not to act as a person .
